Another one of my very favorite read-aloud books! I cherish this book, it’s truly a masterpiece: it is so beautifully crafted, and stands as a perfect example of how words and pictures can aid one another in superb storytelling! Our story is told by a local town cat, Muffin, who prowls the neighborhood each night, always on the lookout for anything strange that might require his investigative expertise…when, one night, bears show up at the bakery!?! Sounds like a job for Muffin!
