Aidan Cassie studied animation and earned a media arts degree at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design as well as Edinburgh College of Art. Sterling, Best Dog Ever is her first picture book. She lives on a small island, surrounded by other artists, in the Salish Sea of British Columbia.
