About the Book: Judy’s class is making family trees when Judy stumbles on the most jolly smashing discovery of all time: she may be related to the Queen of England! But as with all things Judy Moody, it’s a little more complicated than it seems, and Judy’s dreams of grandeur quickly turn into a royal mess. The series about third-grader Judy Moody and her little brother Stink has been delighting readers, their teachers, and parents for almost 20 years
About the Author: Megan McDonald grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with four older sisters, and she says that many of the stories in Judy Moody grew out of anecdotes about growing up with them. In fact, she made Judy the older sister because she wanted to see what it’s like to be in charge. Megan McDonald is the author of numerous children’s books, and lives with her husband in Sebastopol, California.
